Inner North Outer Experiences LLC, a Texas-based company established in 2023, launches registration for their upcoming Nature Expeditions for Young Adventurers and Families Mini-Day camps for the Spring and Summer 2024 seasons, designed to inspire exploration, discovery, connection, and growth for families. Taking place in our local green spaces, notably Lakewood Park in Leander,TX, these camps provide a unique opportunity to create lasting memories while embracing the wonders and benefits of nature.
Founded by Phylicia Teymer, Inner North Outer Experiences is driven by a commitment to enhancing well-being, fostering connections, and promoting sustainable growth within our communities and environment. Teymer’s personal inspiration stems from her cherished childhood adventures with her father, who, despite facing memory loss, holds onto the early outdoor memories they created together. Recognizing the profound impact of such experiences, Teymer aims to unite families, building lasting connections and memories for generations to come, all while appreciating the valuable benefits of our natural green spaces and parks.
The Nature Mini Day Camps each consist of a three-date series, catering to different age groups – 12-24 months, 2-6 years, and 7-10 years – scheduled between April and July. These child+adult nature-based mini-day camps not only deliver enjoyable activities but also facilitate crucial milestone-based skill development for children outdoors. Through play, exploration, and nature-based learning, participants engage in cognitive reasoning, problem-solving, creativity, confidence building, memory enhancement, and the development of fine and gross motor skills. Additionally, the camps promote socialization, communication, health, environmental awareness, and stewardship.
Mindful of the need to address impacts of digital overstimulation and foster more connected communities, Inner North Outer Experiences LLC’s offerings also include mindfulness in nature activities. Moreover, the company is actively exploring ways to extend the reach of their Nature Expeditions for Young Adventurers and Families beyond the local Leander/Cedar Park/Austin area. This includes the development of explorer activity subscription kits that will allow families across the U.S. to partake in the enriching outdoor experiences.
